Open loop synchronisation control

  • Design measures such as a torsion shaft or metering piston;
  • Measures in the control system such as the usage of flow control valves (Figure G 17 a) or flow dividers (b).

Various processes are controlled such that they take place at the same time. Applied to the synchronisation of cylinders often used in hydraulics, this means:

a circuit that controls two or more cylinders in such a manner that their pistons move back and forward uniformly despite different loads.
