Swash plate pump

Construction design of an axial piston pump, in which the swash plate and the control disc are firmly connected to the drive shaft and rotate with it, while the cylinder block, which is firmly connected to the housing, does not rotate (Figure T 5). The pistons are arranged on the swash plate providing the lifting impetus. An axial bearing absorbs the piston forces. Swash plate pumps are occasionally used in mobile hydraulics and vehicle hydraulics.
